iSoftStone AI Robot - Ascend Integrated Machine, Empowering the Intelligent Upgrade of Shenzhen Airport International Express Customs Supervision EIMS System

2023.11.11

In order to comprehensively promote the transformation of aviation logistics express management from informatization to digitization and intelligence, Shenzhen Airport International Express Customs Supervision Center has entered into deep cooperation with iSoftStone. Leveraging the iSoftStone AI Robot-Ascend Integrated Machine, they are assisting clients in building a localized AI capability center based on the Ascend platform. This center provides various AI capabilities to the customer's information management system—EIMS 5.0, achieving full digitization and intelligent operational management.

The Shenzhen Airport International Express Customs Supervision Center(hereinafter referred to as the "Express Center") was established in 2000. It is an integral part of Shenzhen Airport's aviation logistics, currently covering an area of 140,000 square meters. It houses 25 express companies, including international express giants such as DHL, FEDEX, as well as domestic high-quality and well-known enterprises like SF Express, Sinotrans, Cainiao, and YunExpress. The Express Center primarily engages in international express customs clearance support services, offering comprehensive services such as providing professional venues and facilities, information systems, supervision, and auxiliary services during the express customs clearance process.

When frontline staff at the Express Center use the EIMS 5.0 system for international express business processing, there is a significant amount of mechanical and repetitive manual work involved. This leads to heavy workloads for business personnel, consuming a considerable amount of manpower and time, resulting in poor employee work experience and low work efficiency. The need for the digital transformation of aviation logistics express management is becoming increasingly evident.

As a provider of digital infrastructure services in the field of autonomous and controllable technology, iSoftStone, based on the Ascend Integrated Machine, integrates AI technology with the Express Center's EIMS 5.0 system, optimizing current business processes. This integration achieves intelligent automation of customer aviation import and export express airway bill scanning and recognition, automatic data entry, data confirmation, aviation vehicle weighing, and archiving of aviation bill images, reducing the manual workload of business personnel and improving business processing efficiency, accuracy, and quality.

The iSoftStone AI Robot-Ascend Integrated Machine is a self-developed innovative information and communication technology solution jointly launched by iSoftStone and Huawei, combining hardware and software integration. Based on the Ascend AI hardware platform, embedded with Huawei PanGu-Σ large model, pre-installed with the Hilense Agent architecture to achieve edge-cloud collaboration, integrated with the ModelArts platform, the system possesses traditional AI inference capabilities such as OCR, NLP, image, and video analysis, supporting integrated deployment on the inference side. The product adds intelligent process robots (RPA), seamlessly connecting business flows with the AI platform. Simultaneously, the AI robot integrates components such as the iSoftStone Enterprise OS (ISSEOS), and ISS virtualization platform, supporting one-stop AI development. It delves into customer business scenarios to develop business models, accelerating industry intelligence.

As of now, the AI robot has successfully empowered intelligent automation application scenarios for enterprises in various fields such as central enterprises, manufacturing, finance, and education of over 150. These scenarios cover automated collateral registration, intelligent inspections, invoice assistants, and intelligent contract management, among others. Through the application of AI robots, clients have been able to address pain points such as large volumes of data processing, repetitive rule-based operations, and prone-to-error operations. This has facilitated a 10 times improvement in average work efficiency for clients, achieving a 100% automation rate and zero error operation results.

In recent years, the integrated information and communication technology solution has become a trend in enterprises. It not only meets the demand for domestic substitution but also enhances efficiency, reduces costs, and brings more business opportunities to enterprises. In the future, iSoftStone will continually strengthen its comprehensive capabilities in intelligent technologies. Through collaboration with partners and clients, it will persistently deepen the integration and application of AI. Based on a fully domestic and integrated information and communication technology system, iSoftStone aims to create a new driving force and engine for the digital development of enterprises, contributing to the construction of the digital economy.
