John Peng, Chief Digital Officer of iSoftStone, Haining Deng, Senior Vice President, Xin Yan, Director of Innovation Cooperation Center of Innovation Research Institute, and Jing Guo, Director of Government Affairs attended the exchange meeting on legislative affairs.

Peng elaborated on the company's business development, transformation and upgrading path and future strategic layout. Xiaobin Ye, Senior Director, and Jingran Qu, Senior Consultant, introduced the business progress, strengths and achievements of iSoftStone in fields of HarmonyOS and consulting. 

Director Tang affirmed the achievements made by iSoftStone. Amid its active efforts to build an international center of technology and innovation and a benchmark for the global digital economy, Beijing made clear a range of development goals, including achieving an average annual growth rate of the added value of its digital economy of about 7.5%, achieving an average annual growth rate of the total income of enterprises in Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone of 8%, cultivating no less than 100 unicorn enterprises, and achieving the ration of about 260 R&D personnel among 10,000 employees, etc., to create a new highland and innovative ecology of digital economy. Tang addressed the positive contributions made by iSoftStone to the development of digital economy in Beijing by continuously empowering the digital transformation and upgrading of enterprises, and hoped the two sides will expand their cooperation to more fields. 

The two sides also exchanged ideas on the Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Digital Economy Promotion (Draft). Peng stressed the role of information technology services in transforming scientific and technological innovation into productivity needed by customers, and mentioned that Beijing would intensify efforts in building world-class information technology service enterprises, and introducing policies on the vocational education system, integration of production and education, and multi-level digital talents. He also proposed solutions for the supply side, demand side and business environment optimization. Meanwhile, Tang expressed the hope of facilitating high-quality development of enterprises from relevant policy formulation and legislation.
